The Start
After decades of managing the electrical construction business operations for several of the nation's largest specialty contractors, we started Rye with the goal to build buildings faster with less waste. By combining the same science and technology used to predict customer buying habits with our proven experience in designing and building large complex electrical projects, Rye is improving the way we manage labor and think about construction.
We borrow our name from the book The Catcher in the Rye. The book is about preserving innocence in children and saving them from falling off into adulthood too early. Any one can get a job. The people who choose Rye are not here for a job. They want more from themselves and the organization they pour their efforts into. We know electrical construction and wanted to use our talents to provide for our families and do something cool to help kids stay kids. We are a company that has purpose.
